Terms of Use

1. The app

Home Away (formerly Plant Sit Card) helps you write down how to look after your plants, pets, home and mail while you are away, and share those instructions with a sitter. By using it you agree to these terms. If you downloaded it from the App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

2. Care guidance is general

Watering rules, tips and “it looks like…” notes are general houseplant guidance and starting points. Homes, light, pots and seasons differ; you decide the rules for your plants. We are not responsible for the health of any plant or animal.

3. Pet safety

Pet badges repeat what the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s toxic and non-toxic plant lists say, as of the date shown in the app. They are information, not veterinary advice, and a plant that is not on the lists is not necessarily safe. If you think a pet has eaten a plant, contact a veterinarian or an animal poison control service straight away.

4. Pets and medicines

Pet care notes, including medicines, are your own instructions. The app shows them as you wrote them; it does not give dosing advice, check doses or diagnose. The sitter help guide is general and points to the vet you listed. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian.

5. Your content, your codes and your sitter

You are responsible for what you put in packets and cards (for example house access notes and any codes you choose to send) and who you share them with. A sitter PIN keeps codes from casual reading; it is not bank-grade protection. Mail and package details are reminders only; the app does not contact USPS or any carrier. Arrangements between you and your sitter, including payment, are between you and them; the app does not arrange or guarantee sitting.

6. Purchases

The unlock is a one-time, non-consumable purchase through the App Store or Google Play, tied to your store account and restorable from Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

7. Availability

The app is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but cannot promise it will be free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything important (Settings → Export my data).

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Swift AppGen Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
